Terms of Service

kcalendar is a nutrition logging application. You log meals, we estimate macros and show you the result over days, weeks, months and years.

You need an account to use it. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, because that is how you sign in.

kcalendar is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary or clinical advice. Macro estimates, including AI-generated ones, are approximations and can be wrong. Do not use kcalendar to diagnose or treat any condition, and talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health.

kcalendar has a free plan and a paid Pro subscription. Pro is billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout, and renews automatically until you cancel.

Prices are shown inclusive of any taxes we are required to collect. If a price changes we will tell you before the change applies to your next renewal.

You can cancel at any time from Settings, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep Pro features until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

If you are unhappy with Pro, write to support@kcalendar.app within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights in your country apply on top of this and are not limited by these terms. Full detail is on the support page.

Your meals, photos and recipes remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display them back to you, and to send a photo or food description to our AI processors when you ask for an estimate.

Pro subscribers can export their data as CSV from Settings at any time. On any plan, including the free plan, you can ask us for a copy of your data at support@kcalendar.app. Delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent.

Do not upload content you have no right to upload, attempt to break or overload the service, scrape it, resell access to it, or use it to store anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate an account that does.

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that macro estimates are accurate.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use kcalendar after that means you accept the updated terms.
